I just wanted to share another few points about how to make the most out of this blog before the next main post at the end of the week:
- There has been an amazing response to the blog with around 1000 visits in the last week alone! Please continue to spread the word and feel free to share any posts/the link to the blog with anybody you know may be interested. I very much value feedback so any suggestions/comments please let me know.
- I have added a section 'Tips about the Blog' to the website summarising different functions. Last week I mentioned the option of viewing and saving all posts as PDF files (the link can be found at the end of every post). Additionally, old posts can also be retrieved: On the right side on the blog, you can find the 'Blog Archive' and a section called 'Labels' where different key words are listed in alphabetical order. By clicking on a blog title in the archive or by clicking on a key word in the 'Label' section you can retrieve previous posts, which are no longer fully displayed on the main website.
- Please note that some items on the blog are only available in the web version and may not be available when using mobile devices. This includes the 'Blog Archive', 'Labels', the contact form as well as the email subscription option. If you are viewing the blog from a mobile phone or other mobile device you can still access these functions by clicking on 'view web version'.
- The final step in the email subscription is still missing for a few people: please check your inbox and SPAM folder for the FeedBurner email- if you cannot find it or have any other problems, please let me know.
- Finally, I am pleased to inform you that I am not the only one with a passion for quotes. In the last couple of weeks I have received many great quotes from different people and I will try and share them all with you over time. This time it is a slightly more light-hearted one from author Sir Terry Pratchett:
'People's whole lives do pass in front of their eyes before they die. This process is called living.'
Humour has a great role to play in well-being: it makes us laugh and diffuses tension. It can sometimes be easy to get lost in the seriousness of life and humour can help us to get some perspective. More on this at some other point.
This Friday we will get into 'serious' business and start looking into the central question what makes us happy and unhappy so make sure that you don't miss that post!
